Development Projects & Infrastructure
Yas Island Marina, Yacht Club and retail precinct, Abu Dhabi
The Yas Island development, in Abu Dhabi, would be one of the highest profile projects
currently under construction in the world (due for completion late 2009). The Marina,
Yacht club and associated retail precinct forms an integral part of this project.
JDS Civil Designs & Surveys adopted small scale linear surface water drainage channels, previously
popular in Airport and logistic situations, to provide a seamless, aesthetically
sound and cost effective design solution for this challenging project.
